Together, part of one family business. Our joint roots lie in hotmelt coating technology. We started out as a single enterprise: L.C. Maan Engineering. Under this banner, we studied the properties and behaviour of hotmelt coating and biopolymers, in various applications. With this knowledge in the bag, we noticed there were opportunities for successfully using biopolymers and related technology in markets outside our own, including the horticultural industry.

And so the Growcoon became a successful example of the crossover innovation that has been constantly present within the walls of Maan. It marked the go-ahead for Maan Biobased Products as an autonomous company, but our business activities are still closely linked. Together with Maan Engineering, we develop automation solutions that add significant value to our sustainable product concepts. Maan Engineering is the driving force behind our in-house production facilities.
